We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. You've used the negative space here pretty well in the background, with your foreground picture having so much energy. The stipes and pose really draw the eye forward instead of allowing it to wander around the picture. With good photography you force the viewer to see what you want them to see, and I think you've achieved that here. Well done.
